“For two days there seems to be a shift towards replacing the Bulgarian prosecutor’s office with the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) – you can see last night’s EPPO announcement that it will work more closely with the Bulgarian government, which is not a good thing,” Vice President Iliana Iotova said after a commemoration ceremony in Sofia for the Day of Thrace.
