At a meeting with the management of the National Board of Tourism, President Rumen Radev laid emphasis on the need of a long-term national strategy for the development of the sector.
He called for urgent measures to compensate for the expected decline in the number of Russian and Ukrainian tourists, as well as for the mounting costs sustained by the tourism industry. The Bulgarian President also laid emphasis on the need of developing active state policies for the promotion of dual education, to include traineeships and apprenticeships in tourism.
