Hurricane-force winds peaking at 160 km/h caused huge damages in the town of Vratsa (Northwestern Bulgaria) and the nearby villages. The crisis headquarters of the Municipality of Vratsa declared partial state of emergency. Gale force winds uprooted trees and damaged facades of buildings and commercial premises.
