Worshipers from all over the country accompanied the miraculous icon from Bulgaria's Bachkovo Monastery in the traditional liturgical procession to the Kluviata area, where the icon was found.

At the beginning of the 17th century, on Bright Monday, two shepherds saw a strong light in the rocks above a cave and discovered the holy icon inside. From the place where it was found, a spring with healing water, named "Ayazmoto", gushed.
According to church tradition, the icon brought healing to many believers. That is why every year on Bright Monday people from all over Bulgaria make a procession with the image of the Mother of God - Protectress.
This year, too, a long queue of believers formed in the yard of the monastery from early dawn as people patiently waited for their turn to bow, light a candle and pray to the Holy Mother of God.
