Premier Petkov expected to meet with Ukraine’s President Zelensky in Kyiv

A Bulgarian delegation led by Premier Kiril Petkov is expected to visit Kyiv today. In this way the coalition partners could alight their position on whether Bulgaria should send military aid to Ukraine. One person from each party in the ruling coalition had to travel to the Ukrainian capital, but the Bulgarian Socialist Party refused to send a representative. 

Fighting continue in Ukraine. Russian forces have been attempting to bypass Kharkiv and break through Ukrainian defensive positions near Izyum. Blasts were heard in Russia’s Belgorod near the border with Ukraine. An ammunition depot in the province was on fire. Explosions were also heard in the Russian city of Kursk.

US Secretary of Defense lloyd Austin said for Fox News that he does not beleive in the possibility of a nuclear conflict over the situation around Ukraine.
