The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will leave the ruling coalition if the government votes for military aid to Ukraine, Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Kornelia Ninova reiterated her stance during her visit to the village of Parvenets, Plovdiv district.
She added an unexpected nuance to the position of BSP on providing military aid to Ukraine. Ninova did not condition the BSP's exit from the government if the decision is taken by the parliament instead of the Council of Ministers.
Ninova again denied the allegations that Bulgaria exports arms to Ukraine. Regarding Prime Minister Kiril Petkov's commitment in Kiev that Bulgaria would repair Ukrainian military equipment in Bulgarian factories, Ninova said that she would get to know at a council of the ruling coalition what kind of machines were in question.
