Number of new Covid-19 cases down to 435, positivity rate at 6%

435 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 7,162 tests performed in the country in the past day, which is 285 down on the previous day. The coronavirus positivity rate stands at 6%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The number of active cases is down by с 3,149 to 134,409.

87 is the number of new hospital admissions, 76% or 66 of them are unvaccinated. 786 patients are being treated in hospital, 82 of them in intensive care.

6 patients with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day, 4 of them were not vaccinated. The number of recoveries reported is 3,578.  

1,150 doses of vaccine have been administered on Wednesday. A total of 4,384,884 doses of vaccine have been administered in the country since the outbreak of the pandemic.
