Prime Minister Kiril Petkov announced that the Council of Ministers will consider the request to the European Commission for a derogation of the excise tax on electricity and natural gas

He also said he would order an audit of the "Balkan Stream" project, which was built after the suspension of "South Stream".

"These types of projects are exactly what we are talking about when corruption is used as a foreign policy tool by Putin," Petkov said.
