As a result of effects of the ongoing war in Ukraine, industrial production in the euro area and across the union contracted sharply in March. However, Bulgaria has witnessed a significant production growth. According to Eurostat data, Bulgaria marked a 5% rise, just like Greece. Lithuania marked 11.3% growth and Estonia marked 5.1% of growth, while the strongest production decline on a monthly basis base was reported in Slovakia - 5.3%, followed by Germany - 5% and Luxembourg - 3.9%.
