A digital platform is to be launched in the coming days to collect and process, in real time, information about the specific needs of the Ukrainian refugees which will be taken into consideration as they are transferred to state-run facilities in the country. The platform will collect different kinds of data: whether the refugees already hold a job in the area or have been offered a job by the hotelier who has given them accommodation, whether their child has been admitted to school, whether they have any chronic ailments.

In a video address to Ukrainian citizens with temporary protection status, Deputy Prime Minister Kalina Konstantinova explains the steps that will be taken in the transfer process.

The Deputy Prime Minister’s team has sent instructions to municipalities to make an estimate of their capabilities of accommodating large groups of refugees from Ukraine.
