Dear friends, welcome to Bulgaria Today on May 17!  

We open up with a summary of leading news and stories today and weather report for tomorrow.

Next, protests in Bulgaria put on hold. Employer organizations and trade unions have been demanding adequate measures of assistance that will make production costs more predictable. In an attempt to ease tension, Finance Minister Assen Vassilev announced that the government was working on a package of anti-inflation measures worth EUR 1 billion.

Finally, we bring you a fragment of the first part of concerto for piano and orchestra by Pancho Vladigerov to the rendition of the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, soloist Lyudmil Angelov, conductor Nayden Todorov.
