Bulgaria reports 11 Covid-related deaths in past day

253 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 6,501 tests performed, a positivity rate of 3.9%, data of coronavirus.bg show. More than 58% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 1,879 to 75,022. 55 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 40 of the new hospitalizations, or 73%, are among the unvaccinated. 385 patients are being treated in hospital, as 37 of them are in intensive care units.

11 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. 7 of them were not immunized. 2,121 people have been reported cured. 558 vaccine doses were administered on Monday.
