Best employer competition takes place in Bulgaria for the fourth time

There are many factors that go into the making of a good employer. That is something the organizers of an online competition - Career Show Awards - firmly believe in. The competition is taking place in Bulgaria for the fourth time, and its aim is to distinguish the best practices in attracting, developing and retaining staff.

“As before, what we are looking for is the best employer, so that is where the focus is. The most intriguing categories are perhaps the categories connected with the new tendencies in employer branding or corporate identity, and overall work organization,” Victoria Dobrinova, PR officer and market manager of Career Show explained for the BNR.

There are a total of 70 competition categories. According to Victoria Dobrinova, the job advertisements and the positions in Bulgaria have changed quite a lot in the past couple of years. And she cites, as an example, the many companies that are now offering a hybrid work model, but also 100% remote work, something comparatively unknown in the country until a few years ago.

Companies wishing to take part in the Career Show Awards can register until 24 June. The finalists will be announced on 30 August, and the winners – on 13 September. The selection will be made by a special jury comprising famous names in media and business, among them President Rosen Plevneliev (2012-2017).
