This morning unknown perpetrators set the front door of the Bulgarian Cultural Center "Ivan Mihaylov" in the town of Bitola in the Republic of North Macedonia on fire. The crime was reported by the Cultural Center on its Facebook page. "We expect the institutions to investigate the case as soon as possible and bring the perpetrators to justice," the center said in a statement.

The arson attack happens days before the departure of a Bulgarian delegation to Strasbourg in connection with the veto imposed on the Republic of North Macedonia for start of EU membership talks.
