Flamboyant carnival parade in the town of Kazanlak

A carnival procession under the motto "Friendship in Roses" passed through the main street of Kazanlak in front of hundreds of residents and guests of the town.


At the head of the parade stood this year's Queen of the Rose - Beloslava Zheleva. This was the culmination of the Rose Festival 2022.


"The rose is a national symbol. The self-confidence that our ancestors gave us is the strongest characteristic of the people of Kazanlak," said Mayor Galina Stoyanova in her solemn speech.


Among the guests of honour was the Minister of Agriculture Ivan Ivanov, who said that his ministry was looking for mechanisms to support rose growers and processors so that they could preserve and develop their business.
