“Strength, unity and solidarity within NATO, as well as an economically strong EU, are the appropriate response to Russia's attempts to destabilize Europe and reformulate international order”, Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense Dragomir Zakov said at the Bucharest 9 Defense Ministers’ Meeting which was held online.

"It is our duty to support Ukraine - bilaterally, multilaterally, as an Alliance and as a Union," said Minister Zakov. "The strength of NATO and the European Union lies in the political unity of this unique combination of countries and societies. As members of these organizations, we should use our strengths to provide Ukraine with the necessary support", said Minister Zakov.
