Bulgaria reports 168 new Covid-19 cases

168 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,140 tests performed, a positivity rate of 4%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 58% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated.

The highest number of cases was reported in Sofia-75, followed by Plivdiv-11 and Blagoevgrad-9.

The number of active cases amounts to 75,022. 312 patients are being treated in hospital, as 28 of them are in intensive care units. 30 people have been admitted to hospitals in the past day. 73% of them were not immunized.

2 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. 1,479 people have been reported cured. 418 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday. 2,060,099 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle. 759,846 have had a booster shot.
