Vice President Iliana Iotova is to mark the 130th anniversary of the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic church in Vinga, Romania. Vinga has the second biggest ethnic Bulgarian community, after Banat, who have preserved their language and traditions for almost 300 years.
The Holy Trinity church was built by Banat Bulgarians in 1891 and contains relics from the start of the 18th century.
In Vinga, Iliana Iotova will meet with representatives of the local authorities and of the Bulgarian national minority from different parts of Romania. She will also pay a visit to the West University in Timisoara.
