Bulgaria reports 9 Covid-related deaths, none were vaccinated

240 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 3,722 tests performed in the country in the past day, 88 up on the previous day. 63.7% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated. The positivity rate is 6.44%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

The number of active cases in the country is down by 1,038 to 62,686. 

24 is the number of new hospital admissions over the past 24 hours, 17 or 70.83% of them were not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is up by 2 to 251, 29 of them in intensive care.

Nine people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day, none were vaccinated, 1,269 are reported as recovered.

507 doses of vaccine were administered on Thursday, bringing the total number of vaccine doses administsred in the country since the start of the pandemic to 4,404,422.
