Percentage of positive Covid tests rises for second day

A total of 92 Covid cases have been registered in Bulgaria for a day, which is 29 less than a day earlier. Over 56.5% of the newly infected were non-vaccinated citizens. 8.95% of 1,028 tests returned positive result which is a rise of nearly 0.5% in comparison to Sunday, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The number of registered patients also rose by 56 to 61,930. Eight patients were admitted to hospitals. 7 of them or 87.5% are non-vaccinated. The number of hospital patients rose to 256 as 28 people are intensive care.

No Covid deaths were reported during the past day. 36 people recovered. 2 vaccines were administered on Sunday. 2,060,932 people in Bulgaria have already completed their immunization.
