Bulgaria reports rising number of new cases of Covid-19, five deaths

336 are the new Covid-19 cases registered in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours, or 26 more than the day before. Over 57% of the newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 8.7% of the 3,843 tests performed came back positive, according to the National Coronavirus Information Portal.

The number of actively registered patients has increased by 143 to 61,747. 36 infected patients were admitted to hospitals in the past day as 26 of them or 72.22% have not been vaccinated. 

During the day, five persons with a Covid-19 infection passed away. 188 recoveries have been reported.

360 vaccines were administered on Wednesday. 2,061,189 people have completed immunization. 762,825 of those immunized have received a booster dose.
