One more US LNG tanker bound for Bulgaria arrives on 2 July

Bulgargaz has reserved the delivery, via the Greek LNG terminal Revithoussa, of 62 million cubic metres of gas from a US tanker, Capital magazine writes. 

Two tankers from USA already arrived in June. The new amounts of natural gas will arrive on 2 July on board the tanker Oak Spirit sailing under the flag of Bahamas. After the gas is defrosted, it will be delivered via Bulgartransgaz’s Kulata-Sidirokastro gas interconnector. These amounts of gas will ensure one-quarter of the country’s domestic consumption for July.

Deliveries of Azeri gas are to begin on 1 July which will ensure another one-third of the consumption. For the rest, Bulgargaz has announced a tender at Balkan gas hub on 23 June.
