Bulgaria reports 532 new Covid-19 cases in past day

532 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 4,244 tests performed, or 17 less as compared to the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 56.4% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 12.54%% of the tests have returned positive result.

The number of active cases of coronavirus infection decreased with 37 to 59,970. 37 people have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 54% of them were not vaccinated. 341 people are being treated in hospital, as 30 of them are in intensive care units.

2 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. 577 have been reported cured.

1,291 vaccine doses were administered on Wednesday. 2,061,696 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle.
