Outgoing Premier Kiril Petkov held a meeting with the Parliamentary group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP). Kiril Petkov once again denied the allegation of making a one-man decision with regard to the expulsion of the Russian diplomats from Bulgaria, adding that the only mistake he may have made was how the events were presented. The dialogue with the socialists continue, Kiril Petkov said after the meeting with representatives of BSP.
"We have not changed our position after this conversation. We will negotiate the formation of a new cabinet when “We Continue the Change” proposes a new Prime Minister", the leader of BSP and outgoing Deputy Premier Kornelia Ninova said after the meeting with Kiril Petkov. The Bulgarian Socialist Party has stopped negotiations with “We Continue the Change” for the formation of a new cabinet, because of Prime Minister Kiril Petkov’s decision to expel 70 Russian diplomats.
