Bulgarians will not have to worry about their summer regarding the Covid-19 measures, outgoing Premier Kiril Petkov said after a meeting with Bulgaria’s health authorities.
According to latest data, most Bulgarian regions are in stage 0, except for several regions which are in stage 1. "I want to make it clear. There are no restrictions and we are not planning to introduce any restrictions related to business closures. There is no requirement for Covid-19 certificates in the country. Movement restrictions are not being planned either", Kiril Petkov said further.
Bulgaria’s Chief State Health Inspector Associate Professor Angel Kunchev pointed out that mask wearing will be introduced in healthcare facilities and nursing homes in Zone 1, which includes Sofia. It is up to the employers to decide whether to reintroduce teleworking, Angel Kunchev said.
