The traditional Raspberry Festival and the 7th National Specialized Exhibition of Berries brought together producers of berries and raspberries in the town of Loznitsa, Razgrad region.
The event was visited by the outgoing Minister of Agriculture Ivan Ivanov, who noted that raspberries in Bulgaria were grown on a total area of 1816 hectares in 2022 and their production has reached 500 tons at this stage. He added that Bulgaria is a net exporter of raspberries and cherries. For raspberries our country exported 3620 tons in 2021.
