There has been no discussion of There Is Such a People not having ministers in a prospective cabinet, BSP says

“During the negotiations on the formation of a government, there has been no discussion of There Is Such a People not having  ministers in the cabinet,” Georgi Svilenski, chairman of the parliamentary group of the Bulgarian Socialist Party stated.

“That is the reason why Slavi Trifonov (leader of There Is Such a People – editorial note) decided to push the country toward elections for the fourth time,” he commented, and added that such conditions have not been set down by There Is Such a People, or by We Continue the Change. Georgi Svilenski stated further that if, on Wednesday, the National Assembly fails to garner a quorum, there would be no point in holding onto the exploratory mandate.

Hristo Ivanov, co-chair of Democratic Bulgaria also commented last night’s events, stating that GERB and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms were “flinging” themselves into this incident with such enthusiasm because they wanted to throw the country into chaos and because think that new elections will “whitewash them”.

“They are acting much like There Is Such a People,” he added in an interview with public service TV BNT.
