MP Ramadan Atalay from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms accused the government of corruption regarding the purchase of natural gas. In an interview "24 Chassa" newspaper, Atalay said that on July 27, the National Assembly Ad Hoc Committee for the examination of the circumstances leading to the suspension of natural gas from Gazrpom Export will announce its report.

According to MP Atalay, the report will name the intermediary company through which gas is imported at higher prices. The report also contains reports of the State Agency for National Security, Atalay said, adding that GERB MP Delyan Dobrev had mentioned the name of the company selling Russian gas- Wintershall.

Until 2012, the Swiss-based company acted as intermediary between Gazrpom and Bulgaria.
