A little after 9 AM this morning, a bomb alert was received at Sofia airport, the Interior Ministry has announced. Both airport terminals were closed and passengers and crew were evacuated for 45 minutes. The inspection teams who arrived on the scene declared the bomb threat to be a hoax before 11 AM, and the passengers were allowed back in.

There was a similar fake bomb alert at Sofia airport just two weeks ago. No explosives were found then either.
