Non-governmental organization calls for guarantees that there would be no negotiations with "Gazprom"

The "Boec" civic association has submitted a request to the Ministry of Energy that the caretaker Energy Minister Rosen Hristov guaranteed he would not negotiate with Gazprom for the supply of gas. According to Georgi Georgiev from the association, there are no guarantees that even if Bulgaria signed a new contract with Gazprom, it would receive gas regularly.

"Gazprom does not sell gas, Gazprom sells dependence," he commented. Boec also said that they were promised a meeting with the energy minister, but he hid from them. Using tape, supporters of the organization wrote the symbol of Russia’s invasion - the letter "Z" - on the windows of the ministry. During the protest, Boec also collected signatures for the removal of President Rumen Radev from office.
