Satellite images show that the first ship loaded with grain that left Ukraine under UN-Turkey-brokered agreements has arrived in Syria. Planet Labs footage analyzed by the Associated Press shows the bulk carrier Razoni docked at the port of Tartous next to a grain silo. Razoni left Odessa on August 1 with 26,000 tons of corn as the cargo was supposed to reach Lebanon, but Lebanese media reported that the order was cancelled.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky pointed out that the main task of Ukrainian forces was to make the war increasingly difficult for Russia.

On August 16, an ammunition warehouse exploded in the northern part of the Crimean peninsula. Moscow described the incident as "sabotage" and acknowledged that it was the work of armed groups loyal to Ukraine.

Ukraine has neither confirmed nor denied its involvement in the series of explosions in Crimea. In addition to the series of blasts in the Crimea, Russia's Federal Security Service said attacks on power lines at the Kursk nuclear power plant were also work of "Ukrainian saboteurs."
