Experts at Bulgaria's Ministry of Defence are exploring all possible options regarding Air Force equipment. During the solemn celebrations on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of the Shipka epic battles in front of the Freedom Monument, the caretaker Minister of Defence Dimitar Stoyanov told journalists that there were talks with Poland about the repair of aviation engines for MiG-29 fighters, BTA informs.

A connection was also established with Israeli companies and embassies of countries that operate MiG-29. He added that another platform is being worked on to replace this fighter during the transit period when the Air Force will not be able to perform its tasks. So far there has been a response from Sweden and France, a response from the USA and Israel is expected.

According to Minister Stoyanov, no Ukrainian equipment has been repaired on the territory of Bulgaria, a framework agreement has been concluded and when such activities are carried out, the population will be promptly informed.
