Bulgarian women’s kayak double qualifies for world semifinals in Hungary

Pamela Ivanova and Vanessa Dimitrova qualified for the semifinals of the 500 m. women’s kayak double at the Canoe Kayak Sprint U18 World Championships in Szeged Hungary. The Bulgarian competitors came second in the fourth series with 1:49.08 m., second only to the European champions Dina Bacelj and Dunja Stanojev, Serbia who clocked 1:47.90 m. 

The semifinals are this afternoon, Ivanova and Dimitrova’s start is at 3.35 PM Bulgarian time. Later today Radostina Angelova is to compete in the junior’s canoe single.
