The election campaign for elections for parliament in Bulgaria on 2 October, 2022, officially kicks off on 2 September, and will end at midnight on 30 September, 2022. 1 October is election silence day.

Twenty-three parties and six coalitions have registered for participation in the election, but one of them – the United People’s Party has not registered candidate lists in any of the constituencies and will not be put on the ballot.

The deadline for submitting applications for voting abroad expires at midnight on 6 September. The number of polling stations outside the country is unlikely to exceed 800. As usual, the highest number of applications has been submitted in Turkey, the UK, Germany, Spain (Europe), as well as USA (outside Europe).
