An inter-administrative unit between the State Agency for National Security and the prosecutor’s office is being set up to coordinate the work of the two institutions during the period of election campaigning, on election day and in the time until the final election results are officially announced by the Central Election Commission.

The prosecutor’s office specifies that the formation of a national inter-administrative unit is regulated by the election code to guarantee that citizens are able to exercise their voting rights as stipulated by the Constitution.

A duty office is functioning with the prosecutor’s office which will analyze all incoming reports of election irregularities. Citizens as well as organizations can e-mail reports to the respective prosecutor’s offices in the country.
