The Bulgarian embassy in Kyiv has reopened its doors, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports. The diplomatic mission will be led by an interim head and will work with less staff. The consular service at the embassy will also resume its activity with a reduced team and will perform a limited range of services.
It is planned that work will continue in full volume after the restoration of communication channels with Bulgaria. "Our country, which continues to provide all possible assistance to Ukraine, including help to its citizens displaced by the war, condemns the Russian military aggression and supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders and territorial waters," the statement of the ministry reads.
