Another 400 servicepersons will be deployed tomorrow to the villages of Karavelovo, Bogdan and Slatina (Karlovo Municipality) to clean up the flood-hit area, Bulgaria’s caretaker Premier Galab Donev said. The government will also provide additional equipment.

"On Friday, officers from the regional and municipal administration in Plovdiv and the neighbroring regions will be in the flood-affected villages to help people clean their houses and yards. Many volunteers from across the country are also expected during the weekend", Premier Donev added. According to Plovdiv Regional Governor Angel Stoev, the infrastructure, the streets, the bridges and riverbeds will be fully restored within three weeks.
