A  total of  704 coronavirus  cases were  registered in Bulgaria yesterday after  5,354 tests, according to official  data.  13% of the tests  returned positive result.  65% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated  people. 
Most  of the  new cases are  in Sofia – 195, followed  by  Plovdiv - 51, and Varna - 38. There are 566 patients in hospital - 30  of them in intensive care. 70% of the newly admitted 96 patients have not been  vaccinated. Eight people passed  away and  507 recovered. The  number of active coronavirus  cases reached  9,902. 
On Friday, 1,158 vaccines doses were administered. There are 2,070,947 people in Bulgaria with completed immunization. 69,948 have also had a booster dose.
