The clearing of trees and branches fallen after Saturday's storm in the Black Sea towns of Burgas and Pomorie is continuing. A partial state of emergency has been declared and will remain in place until all damage is inspected. 90% of the cultivated land in Pomorie was affected by the storm and the hail that followed.

The vineyards, where more than 150 hectares were destroyed, suffered the most damage, BNR correspondent Daniela Kostadinova said.

"The harvest was supposed to start on Monday, but I haven't picked a single grape. Everything is destroyed," said one of the affected winemakers.
