Early bookings are promising for the winter season at Pamporovo ski resort

Early bookings for the winter season in Pamporovo by Bulgarian and foreign tourists are on the rise, said Marian Belyakov, Executive Director of Pamporovo AD.

The increased interest from tour operators and the growth of individual bookings disproves the forecasts of booking woes caused by inflation

From 22 September, Pamporovo will be selling ski lift passes at last year's prices, which will be valid until 20 November. According to the hoteliers, the increase in early bookings is due to the fact that prices for services remain close to last year's.

Mostly Bulgarian tourists, as well as holiday groups from neighbouring Balkan countries, the UK and Ireland are emerging as the main tourist groups for the upcoming ski season in Pamporovo, BTA reports.
