Bulgaria reports six Covid-related deaths for three days running

539 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 4,615 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, down by 79 from the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 63% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated, the positivity rate stands at 11.7%, as compared to 10% on the day before.

The number of active cases is down by 825 to 8,906. 61 is the number of new hospital admissions in the past day, 40 of them, or 65.6% are not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is down by 14 to 542, of them 27 are in intensive care.

The number of Covid-related deaths reported in the past 24 hours is 6, the same as on Tuesday and Wednesday. Five of the patients who have died were not vaccinated. The number of recoveries reported is 1,358.

1,733 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past day.
