The central promenade of the Sea Garden in Varna is already preparing for its transformation with tulips and violets, which will delight the eyes of passers-by next spring.

"From autumn, the preparations for planting the bulbs begin, new figures are also taking shape," Yanka Petrova, who has worked as a gardener for more than a quarter of a century, told BNR Varna.

At the moment, intensive work is underway to clean the emblematic park of Bulgaria’s sea capital from the fallen leaves.

And in the spring, Dutch tulips will decorate the Sea Garden.

"There is a lot of work in the Sea Garden, it is difficult, but 25 years ago everything was done by hand - both sweeping and loading the garbage. Now the machines help, it's faster and the work goes easier," said Yanka Petrova.
