Natural gas prices for November and December will not rise unless something extraordinary happens internationally, the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission’s Chairman Ivan Ivanov said at a round table in Sofia entitled “Green Transition”.

Ivan Ivanov recalled that the price of natural gas for October decreased with 34%, which was mainly due to the fact that the Bulgaria-Greece gas interconnector started commercial operation on October 1. Ivan Ivanov pointed out that the EU gas storage facilities are 90% full and that Bulgaria’s gas storage facility is 77% full.
