Bulgaria reports 1 Covid-related death in past day, 212 new infections

212 is the number of new Covid-10 infections out of 1,302 tests performed in the country in the past day, which is 76 down from the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The positivity rate stands at 16.3%, as compared to 17.4% on Sunday. 53.8% of the new infections are among the unvaccinated.

The number of active cases registered in Bulgaria is up by 199 in the past day and is now 10,839. The number of new hospital admissions is 16, of them 11 are not vaccinated. The number of patients being treated in hospital is up by 12 to 628, of them 48 are in intensive care.

One patient with established coronavirus, who was not vaccinated, has died in the past day. The number of recoveries reported is 12.

15 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours.
