Bulgarian caretaker government has requested information from the security services on the truck bombing on Kerch Strait Bridge, following allegations by the Russian investigation about Bulgaria's involvement, cabinet spokesman Anton Kutev told BNT. "Checks are being made by the State Agency for National Security and the Interior Ministry. What the results will be is yet to be seen," Kutev said.

Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev told journalists he would not comment on the issue of Bulgaria's alleged involvement in the blast.

The head of Russia's Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, told Russian President Vladimir Putin that the truck blown up on the bridge to Crimea had initially set off from Bulgaria.
