Bulgarian and international expert economists will take part in the Expert Council for Economic Analyses in Bulgaria, initiated by the caretaker Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds Management Atanas Pekanov.

Next week the new structure is to be institutionalised. Most of the participants in the 11-member council will be Bulgarians working in prestigious universities or scientific institutions around the world, BNR journalist Marta Mladenova reports. Pekanov said that the experts will be working pro bono, providing their independent scientific opinion in an effort to address Bulgaria's current economic and financial challenges.
