The new Bulgarian cultural centre "Tsar Boris III" in Ohrid, inaugurated last week, was attacked, the Bulgarian Memory Foundation reported. The sign "Tsar Boris III Association" above the entrance door to the building was smashed, BGNES reports. As the club was holding a meeting between members of the association and outside visitors, there were shouts from outside, crying "fascists", followed shortly by axe blows to the club's signboard.

The incident took place minutes after the club was visited by OSCE official representatives in Europe.
