Bulgaria and Japan consider the possibility of opening a "Balkan studies" major at Osaka University

The Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and Kobe City University of Foreign Studies signed a cooperation agreement during the visit of the Rector of Sofia University Professor Atanas Gerdjikov to Japan, the Bulgarian Embassy in Japan announced.The agreement provides for joint research, exchange of lecturers, researchers and students and exchange of scientific publications and literature.

Professor Gerdjikov also visited the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Osaka University. The two parties discussed the possibility of opening a Balkan Studies” major at Osaka University.
