Bulgaria reports 11 Covid-related deaths in past day

1,147 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past day out of 7,729 tests performed. 15% of the tests came back positive, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 61% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated.

The highest number of new cases was reported in Sofia-391, Plovdiv-102 and Stara Zagora-55.

There are 10,694 active cases of coronavirus infection. 143 people have been admitted to hospital in the past 24 hours. 71% of them were not immunized. 679 patients are being treated in hospital, as 54 are in intensive care units.

11 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the past day. 1,946 people have been reported cured. 884 vaccine dozes were administered on Monday. 2,072,699 is the number of people with a completed immunization cycle.
