Sevda Asenova wins gold at the European Women’s Boxing Championships in Montenegro

Bulgaria won one gold and two silver medals at the European Women’s Boxing Championships in Budva, Montenegro. 

Sevda Asenova won the title in the 48 kilogram category after defeating Roberta Bonatti of Italy. Sevda Asenova has won her third European title.

 Venelina Poptoleva and Svetlana Kamenova won silver medals. Venelina Poptoleva lost to Tetiana Kob (Ukraine) in the 52 kilogram category final. Svetlana Kamenova was defeated by Irma Testa of Italy in the 57 kg final.
